Heartbroken Helper

Dear readers,
Have you ever gone to a shelter, and seen the dogs and kittens? If you have, you'll probably understand my feelings. I feel so sorry for them. My mom helps out at the shelter, and I usually go with her. One dog was a pitbull/rottweiler mix, but he was so sweet, and very licky. His littlepaper about him said he was a great dog all around, but just because of the breed mix, he had been there for 2 years! I wish people could see how golden these pups' hearts' are! I once almost broke into tears when I saw this one dog that was shivering in the corner of his kennal. What did his cruel past-owners do to him. That dog has a soul, and he's not just some stuffed animal which you can do anything you please with! It makes me sooooooo mad!!!!! Does anyone second that emotion!? Please comment if you do.
